About Us

Daytona Beach Swimming is a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization
incorporated in the State of Florida in 1996. Prior to becoming
incorporated, the team was known as Daytona Beach YMCA
Swimming and prior to that, the Halifax Swim Association. The
team operates competitive swim programs out of several pools in
the Volusia/Flagler County area, with various competitive levels
depending on the swimmer's skills and age. The team objectives
are to promote swimming with an emphasis on developing healthy
minds and bodies, to provide a comprehensive swim program for
all ages, to provide a complete workout routine for the swimmer
who desires to excel in swimming and achieve his/her maximum
potential, to give each swimmer a feeling of accomplishment at
his/her level, to become a beacon of community support through
dedicated outreach programs and services, to attain recognition
as one of the foremost aquatics training facilities in the county.
